Checking out ebay for ammo and saw a new dealer called the_ball_man. PGN usually has the best prices, but he beats them. And here's the lucky part... He is only about 20 minutes away from me and offers a discount for cash and carry! Good prices and free shipping, so definitely worth a look.

Also pretty cool is that PGN now sells 3/8 and 1/2 clay ammo at a pretty good price.

**I am NOT affiliated with either in ANY way**

For clay ammo, it is hard to beat Clod-Poppers from Saunders. They are 1/2", very regular and fly very accurately. They survive numerous shots in my catch box and disintegrate in a satisfying shower of particles when you hit a hard surface.

Clod-Poppers are $9.95 for 700 or $21.95 for 1,800.

I have not shot PGNs so not able to compare. PGN sells its 1/2" clays for $13.45 for 500, $18.45 for 1,000, or $30.95 for 2,000.

PGN shipping is free. Saunders's shipping is free w/ a $100 order.

We all suffer from various forms of slingshot addiction - that is why we are here.

My forks are eating 25-35 lbs of 8mm steel shot per month.

Friends, I appreciate you all rising to the call to help, but...

A catch box would confine me and my targets. I can't sit at a desk 40 hours a week either. After doing the math, shooting a slingshot is far cheaper than my 357 or 45. I have not fired any of my guns in the last 7 years that I have dedicated to honing this sport.
