The oringal 'twister' worked so well, I thought I'd try a wooden version

Ended up with the Spartacus! made from 22mm spotted gum with a cuir boulii ( litterally boiled leather, which makes the leather quite hard) leather scale. I admit it doesn't really look too much like the the twister but it works just as well and feels great in the hand.
