Been looking at all these beautiful SWOPFS lately and noticed something missing. Something I enjoy building. So.....

I present a Split Frame SWOPFS. The core is 1/2 inch Beech cut 22.5 degrees. The pinned scales are an unknown, but beautiful wood cut from an old Oriental Coffee table I found on a curb. Sanded to 600 and finished with BLO.

Enjoy Guys!

Mike

I've been thinking of doing this for a few weeks now but can't wrap my brain around how to cut matching angles. I've made quite a few of SWOPFS frames and have thoroughly enjoyed shooting them.

Congrats @Stankaard757 on the SFSWOPFS!
Thanks. I've made a couple and still get turned around and upside down with the angles and have to start over. With this one I was able to use my miter saw which made it easier.
