Split this oak fork to make 2 SS,but the one side came out thinner than i wanted, but rather than throwing it in the *burn barrel* i took a clue from Port Boy and made a pfs out of it,not my favored style of shootin [cause im not very good at it,chipped knuckle bone from a *fork* hit] but they are fun to make and i usually just use 1/4 in steelys or 3/8s clay with them now, tubes are SS smalls, pouch is a warrior, shoots pretty nice ,from a cheek anchor, lol. Thanks for looking :)

Nice pair shooters . My fork was so awesome in the start but was a fallen big branch I cut the one side and than the other I lean into it and I guess I was not all the way through and it split right to the fork but I kept it to try a pfs natty . It’s all fun building nattys and a hoot to shoot . Also good ones to let noobs try your not out to much with a bad shot ;-)

I enjoy pfs's myself but have never shot with forks that low. I think my lowest is barely an inch. From a fork that hardly had any limbs left. Plus with mitts my size I need something to hold on to.

That is an Awesome piece there Man!
You know,i have always made my pfs frames with the short forks [like the actual opfs] maybe I should give the taller forks a try,i also have large hands, lol. Thanks again, for the idea :)

No problem, happy you liked that design. It's one I use when I'm just putzing around. It's fun I won't lie.
