Been having outstanding results with .5 Sumieke cut 1/2 - 3/4, 5" active at 30" draw. Shooting 5/16 at 260 fps. Extremely accurate. Saw that the SS die cut 12x18mm .5 is almost exactly the same size so I figured I'd give it a try. I cut 7" from the wide end to make my bandset. I measure in 1" from each end as my reference marks for attachment to get my 5" active. This stuff is good enough to make me give up cutting my own! Shooting the 5/16 at 259 fps. The Sumieke was shooting slightly right of my aim point. The SS is dead on. Didn't count but I know I got a lot of shots out of the Sumieke, so if the SS gives comparable band life I just may stick with it for a while. Only downside is that it smells terrible! Other than that it's good stuff.

On a side note... Scrolling through the hunting forum and saw a bandset recommended by lbjoe and Shane. I cut some .7 I got in trade (don't remember the brand) to 5/8 - 7/8 and 6" active. Absolutely vicious with 7/16!

Those die cuts are dead on. I wish they cut longer bands. I’m loving the Simple .50. I shoot butterfly and 7/16 steel with it. You can’t hardly wear it out. Some fast long lasting elastic that doesn’t seem to have a break in period. I’m sticking to it throughout huntin season if the cold doesn’t effect it too much.
