Stop it! Stop It! Stop it! Before a mad man and a bunch of sheep polluted it, that was a sacred symbol of Fertility and Good Fortune. It was a Blessing for the home and a Ward Sign over your door to keep Evil at bay. It was posted in the fields to encourage a good harvest and on the peak of your animal sheds for fecundity of your herds. It is also a Native Sign for the Good Spirits of the Earth and the Harvest. Along with the symbol for Infinity and the Ankh, It is a universal sign of the Light, Sanskrit has it and Native Americans show it going the other way. Stamp out the negative!

Those arguments aside; it is a cool looking shooter.

I didn't know any of that. But if you say so Flip then I believe it is factual. But Flip, I doubt any of that was what the guy that made that shooter was meaning to express.

To give them the benefit of the doubt, that might not be intended as a Swastika but rather the Buddhist "Ban" which symbolizes the footsteps of the Buddha and represents peace.
That is correct... The Nazis didn't come up with that symbol by the way. It exists in a lot of cultures, is quite ancient and is probably even found in Sanskrit. And for the Chinese and Buddhists it's a rather innocent symbol. However, most have stopped using it due to its unfortunate association with Nazis who have peverted it. Having said that, owning a slingshot with a swastika on it, no matter the intention, is asking for trouble...

We'll be for the SS made it a bad symbol it was a good symbol.
I have a friend who is a history buff... he informed me sometime ago (so I will have to do some research to validate... memories are messy) that the Nazi symbol actually spun in the opposite direction of the "good" symbol that I believe indicated moving forward and positive force...

But I ain't down with this one either way...even though I am loving the top slots.

Found an image...it will do til I have time.

...maybe we need to tell the designer of this rather unfortunate slingshot edition to use decorations such as the Edelweiss flower design instead - in spite of the fact that the incriminated symbol was indeed around well before the time of the national socialists, as some of you have pointed out.

Sad indeed. A wonderful symbol which in the words of Russell Brand was " ..Quite aggressively rebranded by the Nazis" LOL.

Still though, I feel like that might raise more than a few eyebrows! Hahaha oh boy..
