Started to convert my Motobecane Outcast 29er MTB to a more streetable ride. So far stripped the rear brake off. Added the red handlebar riser, which has transformed the ride tremendously (In a positive way.). Now I can sit upright and save my back. Plus my hands would go a bit numb after a while at the regular height. Put a decent mirror on it. I have a handlebar/stem bag coming with a waterproof phone holder, so I can view my speed/distance app. Putting on a Cateye Limit bell, which is really small, but is easily heard. I already have an under seat bag, but I am getting a seat post rear rack and will put another good size bag on that. I found a retro bullet style front light that is upgraded with a bright LED. That will go on the front fork fender hole. Was going to put street tires on it because the Kenda MTB tires are a bit noisy, but I ride over enough loose stuff that I'm going to leave them. Fun, simple and relatively inexpensive build that's making things much more appropriate for the type of riding I do. Anyone else have any interesting conversions?

Custom paint I just finished on a clients 1960 free spirit bicycle. I replaced all the heavy steel parts with ultra light carbon fiber components. I even converted the 1 inch head tube to 1 1/8 to accomidate a full 700cc wheel size full carbon fiber fork.

Ive installed a couple of the mixed terrain tires on some of my clients builds. There smooth in the center with tread on the sides.

I just like the clean look. I'm not doing any hardcore hill bombing, so a front brake is sufficient for street riding and boardwalk cruising. Grew up doing crazy stuff with just a coaster brake. I ride a boardwalk daily with hundreds of other bikes and the vast majority only have coasters, so I feel perfectly safe.
