That is a great question, I always wondered about that with bands if there is a small tear could you super glue it to stop the tear? Never tried it always wonder.

While I personally think gluing a band would probably not work, if someone decides to try it I will suggest this glue
It's toughened with carbon and much more flexible than plain super glue
I use it for archery, fly tying, other hobbies, and just about everything else except fixing my wife's pottery or something where she won't tolerate BLACK glue
I have no interest in the company, just pointing out what I have found to be a great product
