This is actually my first successful bent-rod slingshot and was made about 6 months ago. It is a small frame, 5 1/4 inches high, but measures 3 inches between fork tips, so can safely shoot just about anything that will fit in the pouch. From the bottom of the frame to the start of the forks is 3 inches, the forks are 2 1/2 inches long and the width of the grip (less wrapping) is 1 1/4 inch. The tips are 1 inch long. The tubes are 8 inches from fork tip to pouch. At first, I shot it as just a bare frame, but later added a piece of scrap mahogany to the handle, making it a lot more comfortable to shoot.
After I got back from North Carolina, I added a paracord wrap and lanyard, fattening up the grip a bit and, imo, improving the looks. I had changed to Theraband Red tubes in September. I've since learned that the string ties on the tubes are unnecessary.
I have written a short tutorial on how to make aluminum bent-rod frames, and anyone who wants to copy this one or any of my slingshots is welcome to do so. See the tutorial at http://hanksplace.in...hots/bent-rods/
