I like to shoot natural forks I make. I always bought my bands online. Well I'm into making them myself now. Any tips of size taper for naturals? I use it for small game hunting. Sorry for the newb question.
Ok cool! I really appreciate the feedback! It will certainly help. Thank you again my friend!
We like all questions...and Winnie knows stuff.I like to shoot natural forks I make. I always bought my bands online. Well I'm into making them myself now. Any tips of size taper for naturals? I use it for small game hunting. Sorry for the newb question.
I think these taper dimensions will work, but 10 inches of length is a little floppy for my tastes.I'd be starting with a 10 inch band with a 5/8 x 3/8 taper. You could also try a 3/4 x 1/2 but i think the lighter might shoot better.
I second straight cut bands. My creme de La Creme is 2cm X 24cm.For 3/8 steel I've been doing well with TBG cut 3/4" straight with 6.5" active length.
