This is a little saddle style stitching pony that I made mostly from scrape I had laying around! In fact all that I purchased, was the Knob, nuts and bolts. I always have Aluminum laying around that I find curb side or at garage sales. The two uprights were boards from a thrown away draw. the other boards were just scrap that I had. It will clamp to a table or work bench corner, or a stool like I show it in the first photo. You can add about 20 pounds of shot to little board (like shown run through the bottom for stability. I have also used a large c-clamp to clamp with for extra weight. the way I have it set up here you can easly break it down and take it with you. Mine will swallow up to about about 12 inches for stitching!
