Firstly I would like to thank everyone for your very kind words for my first attempt at a natural fork slingshot. I believe it demonstrates what a wonderfully diverse, intelligent, passionate and - most importantly I believe - friendly community we have on the forums here. Thank you Aaron for establishing such a great community! When I have some more money I will definitely become a Site Supporter!

Especially as I was overly critical of a particular member's initial efforts at crafting his own - you know who are you, in retrospect I realise that my comments were unfounded and offered no constructive criticism or suggestions on how to improve. I am sorry buddy, and in only a very short amount of time you've managed to far surpass my ability to craft slingshots and I believe that you are only one small step away from being at the stage where it actually hurts to sell your slingshots, I'm sure all of the site vendors know that feeling all two well!

PS: When I have some spare money, I will definitely be ordering buying some of your products!

I have realized that sometimes reading something someone wrote you can also take it way differently than it was intended. I am sure you meant well and the words "came out wrong" as I find is most often the case. Your natrual was awesome by the way. I wish I could find a fork that symmetrical!

That is very true, that in combination with things like cultural differences in humour (for example British sarcasm,) can make it possible to wrongly infer a perfectly innocent comment as malicious, my policy is to always give the poster the benefit of the doubt though.

British sarcasm! No, I can't believe that (oops that was American Sarcasm). I think most of us in the US really appreciate British humor, Top Gear is very popular here. Sam I think your first effort was great, and your posts have always been interesting.

I don't think that's accurate. And what's "Top Gear"? Never heard of it.

Personally, I like "Doc Martin" and own all the "Fawlty Towers" CDs, and I used to watch "Are You Being Served".
But most of the people I know don't think these shows are funny. OTOH, almost everyone I know thought "Monty Python" was.

Don't know what all this means, but you're still a good bloke in my book, Sam.
