I like where you are going with the thumb rest. In the photo, starting with the top left, which of the first three is the most accurate? Most comfortable? Do you prefer something like those to the more Ergo shaped ones that follow?

The third, the simpler one, as effective as a Scout but much more easy and comfortable in the hand, which is a lot to say on my behalf. So far, the best I've done.

Tangoland, is a fictitious name for Argentina, the land of Tango. Also Uruguay is a Tango land but I live in Argentina. In fact Tango is a music from two cities: Buenos Aires (the Capital of Argentina) and Montevideo (the Capital of Uruguay). BTW: Tango, is a sofisticated music.

I'm liking the thumb rest. I know that is not as easy as it looks. Do you use a gouge or a dremel?

A gauge and other stuff. A pain to sand! Was thinking getting a Dremmel but not so sure. Looks like a toy and all accesories are propietary; it's like the Apple of tools.

There are a bunch of the rotary steel type tools. And a bunch of companies that make carving and sanding attachments. I am using a harbor freight cheapo right now.
But you are certainly doing fine without one.
