Some of you sling artists who've watch this stick transform here on The Forum MUST have known that Version II wouldn't shoot for a hill of beans!

Round smooth tips on the fork didn't work unless I tied on a 3" wide bands to keep them from sliding off. That and my wife said it looked like a massage 'toy'. What?!

So I whittled it correctly and can now keep bands or tubes going in the correct direction. It is also a bonus to see the wood grain open on the tips. I also found a One Ear Dog that I didn't see before.

Anyone else see it? Moses

This frame is a wonder. Everyone above is coorect I think... evolving and pretty.
Honestly a maximum load of lost time thinking I was going to 'invent' a clever 'Y' in a stick of a tree that grew it that way by accident. A real slingartist would've had a squirrel in the pot the same day the stick fell from the tree! And it would have looked good too!!
