A little known fact.. During the occupation of France the British and French underground used Slingshots to draw German troops away from their post and kill them.. They were so good that if you were caught with a SlingShot and ammo you could be put to DEATH.. A 5 man (British) team using X-Bows and knives rescued 48 POWS the same night after watching 32 die by firing squad and the British with no shots fired.. They killed 27 Germans. So the Germans passed it so NO ONE COULD HAVE any hunting equipment.. Then then the underground would show the Germans where to hunt and they would not return.. Slingshots and X-Bows

Look at the E-6 US ARMY on 1st pic. The US never thought this had any "Covert App" At the time the US was on BRUTE FORCE.. The Brits were like it works.. Yet the the US showed something they came up with that wouldn't work.. The Brits and French figured out 50lb draw will kill at 50 yards.. So thats what they did..
