The Jax way of shooting a slingshot is very effective no nonscense style of shooting. I like it, it is a most natural way of shooting.

You turn the pouch so that it is sideways. Sideways glides right over your hand. I also add about a 3 degree upward angle to the bottom of the pouch.
Ever time I try that forkless shooting, I hit my hand=DANGIT=

You're crazy, but i'm happy that you do so!

I think I know what you mean, but for those of us that are a wee bit daft (okay that would be me!
) do you think you could show us a picture or a quick video on the way you hold your pouch?

It would be great to see, again thanks for posting the video, I always watch and enjoy them.

Cheers - John

Alright that would be great, but make sure you tend to them first!

I have to say I'm a dog lover and the one I've seen in your videos is very handsome.

Can't wait, thank you for the fast reply.

dgui: you are truly an amazing guy. I am inspired by what I have witnessed on this SS fourm. Keep up the research, it makes us all better shooters. Frogman
Well said, Frogman. That's what this forum is all about.

dgui: I just got back home and found you like "The Jax way of shooting".Thank you for nice comments. I never thought of it as exclusively my way of shooting but nevertheless I feel honored and amused
. I watched your video and see you modified the way I hold the rubber. I used to hold it over two fingers.

You hold it over one finger. I tried it out and it feels even better! Now you showed me somethink I didn't think possible because it seemd too narrow to be safe or practical. It's too dark to now for extensive testing but I get to it tommorow for sure.
If it works as fine as it feels it will have a positive impact on my completely new slingshot design I've been working on for a few months. Thank you dgui.

I tried it, too. Butterfly and 2040 tubes. It's fun but accuracy is'nt as "good" as with my other frames!
