your question is an interesting one and Charles is right. but! when you wiki BB's or BB you get anything but your answer. BB's eventually have 1 reference to air soft gun ammo. so in the end many times you just have to take the meaning from other references in the question. with the evolving language a person has to be flexible, that is why sometimes i ask a person to be more specific. no one is wrong in most cases, just their reference.
