Here's a new one o'mine, just recently finished. Pretty happy about this one. I wish i could give a run down on what its made of, but honestly, I don't know. The core is baltic birch, the one side is mostly black walnut, and the black stripes are ebony. If anyone can tell me what the orange-ish wood and the red-ish wood are I would be greatly appreciative . You see, I pick up a fair bit of my wood from a local exotic hardwood company's scrap bin, and they don't exactly come labeled. Anyhow, let me know what you think, and thanks for looking.

That one is purdy!

I would agree with the above assessment on woods, except I would wager the osage is the argentine variety rather than north american.

Really nice work on that one!
Wow, thanks. I gotta say it feels pretty good getting such a comment from the master himself. I thought the orange stuff might be osage, but the grain seemed really distinct compared to other osage I had seen. I didn't even consider multiple varieties.
