Although I am not a big fan of the China designs I prefer the style pictured over the extruded ones that have sharp corners. I believe even the extruded ones that are made so they can shoot flat bands will not have a very long band life because of the nature of the extrusion. Is the one pictured worth getting? I guess that is determined what you pay it for. Tex

I would definitely not buy a zinc alloy slingshot, it is a very brittle metal. I had a cheap butterfly knife with the handle made of it and the handle broke in half one day at random. Very cheap stuff.

Might as well get a dankung since they are stainless steel, cost only a little bit more, they both come from china anyway and people on this forum have already agreed that dankung rubber tubes are pretty good.

ps - i would definitely pay for the faster shipping with dankung, mine took 18 days to get here.
