This sidebar disappears when I sign in, with no apparent way to recover it.

HB ..you can solve the problem by not signing out. :slap:

You mean not signing in. It's there in all its glory when I'm signed out. Sign in and it vanishes. Functions like a membership penalty...

Well, I'm left with little recourse:

I can't monitor the trending, or keep pace with fellow forkers

Please intervene on my behalf and striketh down this glitch
