Never tried using thin spacers before, really like the effect it has given. Also a first for me to try a teardrop shape palmswell, think I quite like it. It's a quarter inch sapele core, then 8mm yew onto that, sapele spacer, ash spacer then bubinga swell. Sanded to 2000 grit 2 coats of raw linseed oil and a quick buff with bees wax. Please let me know what you think and any constructive criticism is very welcome, cheers.

Very nice! A little bit chunky, but nothing wrong with that!
Thank you, yeah seems like I tend to build them a bit on the chunky side, I've got quite meaty hands so any smaller and I think it would have felt a bit lost. See my other thread 'large ergo hammergrip thing' to see what I mean lol

Looks like a not so little cracker to me, beautifully built
Thank you, think im going to scale the next one down a bit and see how I get on.
Size and proportion that you feel comfortable with is the important thing, if your happy then stick with it. It's a beauty any size and looks like fun to shoot
