Hi all,

This is another unknown wood I found somewhere in the woods already barked and I treated it in my Vacuum Jar for safety reasons.

I did no carving except preparing the fork tips for the rubber, cutting off lower part of the fork and some basic sanding. I even left "pimples" because they give some character; it has very strange curvatures (sorry photos are not perfect):

Arm Leg Textile Wood Gesture

Hand Gesture Finger Thumb Wood

I banded it with folded 2 cm wide Precise Green, pretty strong for this one and I tried it, well, I had to get used to the awkward shape but finally I managed:

I love Twiggy.
Me too, MarkoPat, thanks!

This is a perfect shape for a natural grown fork. Beautiful!
Hi, MathisSlingshot, I am so glad you like it!

Like it already was a slingshot that someone left/lost and the rubber rotted off.

Good find. Dont set it down in the woods.
Hi, NSFC, nicely said.thanks!
