I have to say you got skills... and have me diggin' those Gaxpers.
How do you finish those beauties?
Thanks Mako, they are finished to 400, than took a few coatings of BLO.
When dry i rubbed them with steel wool and and after that they got a little wax.

Nice job mate that's a pair of lookers

Hey Bootsmann!? Have you ever heard of, or tried, polishing with a hardwood dowel? Of course I can googleverse this question....regardless. I was picking and rubbing my last makery with a toothpick and rubbed up a little shine on the olivewood. Thoughts??

Hey Mo, i only knew that for polishing the edges of leathersheaths for knives. Never heard of it for polishing wood. Don't know if that works for polishing wood. Can't imagine as most of the time i use hardwood for my frames. Especially fruit wood is very hard.
