hey guys!

just for fun, I finished a couple of natural forks that I already had dry for more than a year.
it is a piece of "primavera" (spring wood, that´s the local name). As you can see has very little work. It shoots great with thin bands.

the other model is "huamuchil" wood, a curious fact, the red line that runs along the fork ... both are roughly the same size ... and I just like exercise, after several months without working forks, the hand is numb.

Thanks for stopping by.

as always appreciate your comments.

THIS IS THE UGLY ONE!!

wow! They're all really good. It seems obvious that you are a pro
.
I think the 'ugly' one is the best though, personally. What rubber do you use on your slingshots? I'd advise either theraband or some of the ones from the site's vendors.
Awesome work,

MAN!! then thank you very much !!...
... but I'm not professional, I´m just enthusiast

so far I have not been able to use the famous theraband (not available locally) so..i use smarch tape sometimes( kinda similar to theraband) or latex surgical tubing ... approximately 3mm. thick.

that works to me so far.

You fellas south of the border make some gorgeous naturals. What species of wood are those? Do they get the grain pattern and structure due to the climate of your area? Keep them coming.
first one is "PRIMAVERA"... the tree is just like this one

the second one is made out of a "HUAMUCHIL"

both are local species.
these wood species are widely used for the manufacture of traditional furniture in my town.

is also common by this season, to find enough branches of these trees on the ground, because the pruning is done regularly ... is no exaggeration to say that is like fishing in a bucket full ...of fish (it make´s me relly happy
)

Ese Chaneke, your forks are pretty good. I never heard of the Primavera or the Huamuchil trees. I know that your compadre Chepo has his very own style, but your is pretty good too, besides your forks have similar details, but do not look the same. Nice job, keep it up.

Jajajaja!

Vaya! Hermano... hasta que subes naturales, quién sino tú... va a darles fama a las especies forestales de tu pueblo hermano?

Se ven muy comodas las dos, bueno un poco esbeltas pero no todos son manotas como asté

Go! Brother ... until natural climb, who but you ... will give fame to the village forest species in your brother?

They are both very comfortable, well a bit slim but not all are in great hands as you
