Thank you very much for watching and your kind words, yes they are a good deal faster but what's more is they both last longer than flats alone & the draw is ALOT lighter. I would say it reduces strain by as much as half (& as little as 1/3) while delivering faster velocities and longer band life.

Very good tutorial. I use cocktails to shoot flat bands on slingshots designed to use looped tubes. Also if you are frugal like me you can take broken tubes and flats that are no longer long enough for your draw length and combine them to make a set long enough.

Good Vid BPC. Gotta say way less finicky that my learning attempts. Amazed that so little can hold that all together. BTW. 'Bob's your Uncle'...?? What does that mean??!

Just substitute "there ya go" for "Bob's your uncle" in the sentence and it'll make sense. I hear it in the US, but I think it's more prominent with Canucks . The video reminded me a little of an Alex Lifeson interview .

Thank you my friend and yes @Bellman said it perfectly. In England 'Bob' is an old phrase for the devil, so it's an odd way of saying you've made the problem your own - as in your took it by the balls lmao.

Is it me or are old sayings the only time we use metaphors fo describe other metaphors? Loool

Thanks alot GG, means a lot :) I do the same thing with leftover flats and tubes. Feels kind of funny tying a nice set from beater flats and tubes - sort of like making a decent cocktail with leftover gin Lol.
