Looks alot like american cedar - does it have a lovely smell when cutting it ? Curious as I'm just getting into making my own slingshots, how do you go about cutting the band groove ?

Hi Guys here are a few frames I made from Chinese Dragon Juniper wood - pretty, but hard to find even here.
I'm thinking of making up a few Bespoke frames for sale if anyone is interested. These would be made specifically to someone's hand size.
They won't cost limb amputation - especially with the postage prices lately.
