For a little change of pace I made a 90 mm Brooke's Rifle mostly zebrawood with a touch of padauk

I tried that a couple years ago and found the steel went right through it!!

without a stout backstop pad [and sometimes with one] the stronger bands will send steel thru,but these are my long distance BB/177 and 1.4 inch shooting

Got this one evened up, smoothed out and banded. Still can't decide whether to teak oil this or a walnut stain for a little darker color.
