What do you guys use for indoor ammo? I came up with cutting up replacement eraser into projectile size peices. They fly straight and are good for killing flies, scolding the dog, terrorizing the cat and even training the children to say thank you, may I have another!?
Since it is made out eraser it is also good for cleaning the walls.
P.S. I'm only kidding about the children. Or am I.

I use plastic 6mm airsoft bbs. Not recommended for use on the wife haha.

Mostly clay balls. I shoot into a 3' x 4' hanging sheet backstop, so I also use steel and marbles.

Air Soft is always good and my mother always thought manners were better learned with a bit of a sting.

I mess around with the nerf gun rival foam balls they are soft and you can shoot the wifey but they squish when you draw maybe not the most accurate ammo but sure is fun

I have never used them but silicone beads are recommended by some for indoor shooting.

I used to cut up erasers to use as ammo - but it can be an expensive...

I use 6mm airsoft - find a dead on hit with a window will have them explode... Also BB's

I usually try shoot with a curtain behind as an extra backstop.

Wet cigarette filters are good for driving the household crazy with pinging noises and a mess ! Found some out of date cod liver oil capsules in the cupboard a while ago too, they explode like tiny smelly paintballs...
