I would love to find a mint in box Curtis Catapult. It was one of the first if not the first commercially produced slingshot. Very few were distributed as far as I can find out. I believe one of my collector friends has one. This collector has a few very rare items of high interest.

Great information Blue and a wonderful story! Yeah, both companies went at it for awhile about the rights to the name. Like you said ,they ended it amicably. The story told to me by Mr. Ellenberg was that Saunders could sell west of the Mississippi and Trumark would take the east. I found out because I asked him about the different colored handle inserts on the Wrist Rockets whether they denoted age of manufacture ( they don't ). Good stuff!
