Nice job..there should be a wedge of wood around somewhere that would make fitting and gluing easier. Gonna be purty though.

I shoot one of my other slingshots whilst waiting for glue to dry. I also remind myself that if I take my time and do a good job, I will have the slingshot for a long time and that the dry time is a small fraction of the slingshot's life.

I remind myself of this when I am deciding whether or not to continue sanding my wood butchery efforts.

Surprised no one mentioned that Mike simply needs more projects at one time. I thought everyone had 5 or 6 builds going at different stages. It's a perpetual cycle of waiting for glue to dry!
