Hi All,

some slingshot forks have no flat tops, but angular. I was wandering, which bandtype I should use, and how to aim with one of those?

I think you are about to band something like this.

As long as the tips are well smoothed, I don't hesitate to use flats or tubes.

The angle doesn't change the function or performance of the slingshot. It does change what you see aiming down the bands - especially with flats.

But it is easy to adapt to the different view.

I still hold sideways and line my bands up just the same as when the tops are flat.

OTT bands would be my first choice, although either will work.

If you hold sideways, your aiming point may be near one of the corners on the upper fork tip!

At least, that is where I would start.
