Who is best for shipping?

Hi, I'm still waiting on a vintage iron SS sent USPS. It was shipped three days ago and still hasn't made it out of California, sent 1st class mail. When I go to the USPS website, half the time it says tracking isn't even available, check back later. I think it's common knowledge at this point that the U.S. postal service is having issues.
I haven't gotten anything through UPS or FedEx lately. Can anyone comment on how they are doing? I'm getting hesitant to order something if USPS is the only option.
If this is the wrong forum, maybe someone can move my post.

You Are Not Alone Lisa, I had to wait two weeks for the USPS to send me an item from California?? They are the cheapest and the one most used by shipping places it's just where we're at right now until maybe after the elections?

I wouldn't worry just yet.. I have ordered things off Ebay and USPS was the only option. Sometimes it took 4 days just to leave Texas. And other times I had it in 4 days. . I wish I could be more helpful. Hopefully it will get there in the next couple of days.

Any where in the us should take 3 days but with all that's going on it's taking a bit longer good this come to those who wait.

Seems to be the norm lately. Sent out some slingmail but the tracking froze at the third day, and it arrived 8 days later than predicted. They post disclaimers that Covid is affecting transportation delays but this is ridiculous. However, I'm confident that mail-in ballots won't be a problem.

Hahahaha Now we know why they want mail-in ballots don't we???

Same issue here the last few months, things have been much slower and tracking is spotty at best.

Not only slower, my Mother in law gets some return to sender‍♂ In defense of the mail carriers and those who sort it and truckers that transport the mail they do a great job Now whoever is making the decision to take on all the extras like UPS and others needs to work on the lines. Thank you Lisa for your service in the trucking industry. That’s another career that people think all truckers do is drive‍♂

Now everyone has something to blame their distinctions on. So far all my packages have made it but very slowly. It’s running about a month to send something out to Canada. Hang in there.

I am just getting worried about the USPS. Many times when I try to access tracking, I get error messages that "this service is unavailable at this time" (something to that effect)
I guess like many companies and businesses, that are experiencing a shortage of workers and things are getting wonky. I hope it smooths out some day. My dog Punkin's special food autoshipped FedEx and got here in 48 hours today, so FedEx seems to be hanging tough.

I'm having the same issues with USPS.....sent a package up to Shane in Canada on 7/17/20, it wound up in Miami, Fl ( ? )....sat there f a few days w/out any movement or updates, but now shows processed through that fácil y and I can only hope it's headed NORTH now.....
