I feel your pain over here in upstate NY.....I am chomping at the bit to get out and shoot each day, only to look out to wind, sleet, and darkness....

You must be shooting tubes. Try some flat natural latex. it works better in the winter and two thin strips work better than one thick one! -- Tex-Shooter

So does this mean those target bands from you will shoot okay in the cold Tex?

I've been hesitant with them as I don't wish for them to kick the bucket prematurely due to the cold on me...

This could spell for great news...

I don't know about the life of my bands in cold weather, but they will shoot faster than tubes. When the weather is cold it is even more important than ever that the fork tips are very smooth with no corners to bruise the rubber. I have been getting a lot of email saying that the slingshot that they bought be cause of sharp corners is reducing the life of there bands. I guess you would not realize this unless you had a slingshot that did not. -- Tex-Shooter

I receive my Tex Shooter bands last week (Excellent product and FAST shipping by Bill). Have not shot them as much as I would have liked, because it has been so cold. Made me wish I was in Kerrville Texas. My plan is to shoot in my garage this weekend, I can get about 28 feet with the door shut. I also have to say the pouch on the bands is way better than anything I have made or used before. Clean release, and the centering detent works really well.
