As we age, our proprioception is diminished, making walking difficult. Sitting in front of a computer for hours on end does not help. A walking stick helps w/ proprioception. I rarely venture out w/out a walking stick. I usually have a Torque in my water bottle holder - one never knows when the the opportunity to launch some ammo will present itself.
