Wrap & Tuck

I almost added to the Clip or Not to clip post, but decided not to.

I remember well the first time I watched PalmettoFlyer do a wrap and tuck while talking to me. All free hand. I clamped forks to a table to get it done.

I was reading the Clip or Not to clip, and I realized I was doing a wrap & tuck freehand. I cut some black latex to use.

Thanks to the many people who have answered my questions.

LOL, never knew you were supposed to center them!

Actually, wide tips allow you to fine tune the Fork Width and anchor points. You can tweak the anchor location by how you put on your band. Meaning that you can simply adjust the fork width 4-8 mm by where you tie the bands. If you don't think that matters, give it a try.

Good example is the Wide Gap Bonegrip frame. It is ~110mm wide to the outside fork tip edges. With the bands tied to the outside edge, the aim for me is several inches above the target point. With the bands tied to the inside edge, the result is the frame shoots like a 98mm wide fork. Which for me is spot on target with my aim and anchor.
