I sent my good friend Gene Kirkland a couple nattys a few weeks ago and I just wanted to take a moment to share because it meant a lot to me. I've tried to learn everything I can about slingin the last couple of years and Gene Is one those who has always taken time for me even to answer some dumb questions lol. That brings back memories of when I was ten before my wrist rocket. The only thing we had was rubber bands. And they could pack a punch.
This was a slingshot history learning moment for me..I had an old wrist rocket old old tubes and a cedar board cut my dad made me with some rubber I would say was the innertube from an old bike lol. I was a rock slinger too I thought the hex nuts were pretty cool. Pack a good punch on a rabbit. lol
Best part of his video was the sound of the hex nut hitting that can from 10m. Pretty amazing stuff and Gene don't miss with anything lol
There was somebody on here that used fill the nuts with lead . If I ever send something down your way I have some 107 bands I send a few
i have stuffed 177 an 22 cal pellets into hex nuts,but didnt really affect the trajectory,maybe hitt a little harder,
