This is my complete fishing rig. My carbon fiber fishing arrows with broadheads and field tips. Also my spear head darts for frogs. The gun is a 6 foot carbon fiber pipe .625 ID with a Cold steel mouth piece venom foam grip and mounted a dock demon spinning combo with light mounted on the side. The grip was 3d printed and purchased from etsy. I've been getting a piece here and there for a while and finally got it all together. Can't wait for some vacation.

Great looking darts!
I must ask maybe stupid questions , but anyway.
Does the dart deflect off the water surface?
Do the fish have to be very close to the surface?
How does the line attach to dart?
How close do you have to be?
Would seem even more important for performance
to use streamlined dart rear end knowing H2O is
MANY times the viscosity of air?

As far as depth the dart loses all velocity when the cone hits the water so you need the extra length of the dart shaft to reach the fish. Also they need to be fairly close to the surface for a clean shot. The only way to get around this is too use a real heavy dart but that's has its limitations. I tie the line to the shaft with a clench knot but I'm working on a sliding knot point to attach to the dart using my wife's jewelry making supplies. Lol.I load the dart from the muzzle and blow it to the other end or you can load it and suck from the mouth piece to seat the dart but draw in breath slow and use your tongue and teeth to stop the cone from coming out into your throat. Even though I have a anti inhale ring I am still careful for safeties sake.
