What kind of wood is it ? It looks like Pine, and if so, don’t shoot any heavy bands as it could crack on you….only light bands / ammo.

 

Yep pretty sure it's pine so I will try to make one out of something else next.

I like the dedication using improvised tools you can learn a surprising amount by having to do things the wrong way. Things like the corner or a concrete block or a brick can be used for improvised sanding, I know that from experience.

It does look a lot like one of the soft white woods spruce/pine, so I would second light bands being sensible. Light bands shooting clay balls at leaves sticks and fence posts lots of other things is great fun and a quick way to learn.

Did you make it 100mm outer like all the Shenanigans builds.
